Rich cranberry/burgundy ground with heavy hand-applied gold decoration and a romantic courting couple transfer print after Fragonard on the front. • Size: approx. 8 cm high • Colour: deep cranberry with gold trim and interior white glaze • Base marks: Crown mark, “Porcelaine Limoges V & L” (typical of mid-20th century French Limoges style) • Condition: Excellent overall – no chips or cracks. Very minor age-related wear to gilding only.
